A wedding is one of the most special and magical times many of us will experience in our lives.

Because every couple is unique and because love is always in motion, a wedding video is a great way to remember your wedding day. Hence, book your wedding date with the best videographer like us . Mary and Jamie are the beautiful, spunky, passionate masterminds behind Key Moment Films, a wedding videography company on a mission to create legacy-quality videos as unique and charming as your day itself. In their words, “We believe in creating stunning visuals as we look for the perfect way to tell real and emotional stories. We promise to be loving and warm, and to treat each couple as if they are our only couple.” Their films are stunning and do not rely on videography trends, making them timeless keepsakes to cherish for generations. Our branding process went like this:

1. Questions & Comprehension

I start EVERY Just Make Things branding project by getting to know the person, or people behind the brand, their deep-down beliefs and their vision for their company. We do this through the combination of a detailed questionnaire and a brand consultation meeting where I ask pertinent questions, and dig for answers. This process uncovers things about the market, the person and their company that might differentiate their brand from peers in the industry. For Key Moment Films, Mary and Jamie’s strong love for each other, their unwavering belief in true love, and their passion for the work they do inspired the “love in motion” concept. For tungsten rings as a gift or wedding ring, people can get them from here!

2. Brand Messaging & Visual Tone

The brand aesthetic for Key Moment Films needed to encourage vacay-loving engaged couples and brides who love “tropical whimsy” to consider having their special day documented through a high-end wedding video, by women who “get” them. Couples should know that by hiring Key Moment Films, they will be sure to get a luxury, worry-free experience for their wedding videography, and that their wedding film will truly represent their unique day.

The brand words selected were:

Fun, Bright, Confident

Here’s the moodboard we developed to convey them:

3. Identity System Design

Based on the compiled creative brief and approved moodboard, three different logo options were presented. The selected logo is comprised of the company name in hand-lettered script style, incorporating a subtle “infinity” symbol as the swash of the “k” to represent forever love. This logo was the basis for the supporting visual elements including a badge, a fun avatar and an alternate logo. We also incorporated handmade watercolor textures to represent the coastal culture of this brand.

4. Brand Assets & Web Site Buildout

I designed the Key Moment Films responsive Web site and collaborated with the AWESOME and so accommodating Vincent of Eagle Nest Media for development of the site. I can’t say enough great things about him and his mad coding skills. We also worked on social media graphics, business cards, some print materials and packaging to promote the work of the team. The site is live now, so head on over and check it out!
