Challenge
As a contractor with a fine eye for detail and a solid work ethic, Shoreland Construction specializes in handcrafted details and historic restorations. They wanted to position the business to obtain customers with an affluent, tasteful design aesthetic who seek custom construction or large-scale renovations and who will turn into “raving fans,” generating additional business (repeat clients, referrals).
Solution
The modern and simplistic logo system we created includes a typographic mark utilizing a strong, classic utilitarian type style and a “roof symbol to signify protection, shelter, home. The mark is easily remembered, and has a lot of potential for conceptual applications in future campaigns. We also worked together to create a tagline that captures their core beliefs “upgrade your expectations.”
