Hi friends! I’m completely thrilled, so very excited, a little (okay, a lot) nervous, and honestly, totally exhausted upon the re-launch of my business under a new name and brand: Just Make Things.

Just Make Things is brand strategy and identity design for doers and makers.

Call it a mantra, an intention, a core value or an immutable law; the phrase “Just Make Things” has been floating around and continually re-emerging at the forefront of my thoughts since 2012, but I didn’t quite know what to do with it. (That’s right, I’ve been sitting on this idea, pretty much action-less for 3 YEARS!) But this I do know: If you strive to “make” even a little bit more than you consume, find more and you’ll be happier  and definitely more productive.

Fast-forward to the middle of 2014 – I’d been reading a bunch of business and brand strategy books and pushing my own entrepreneurial journey through some intense soul-searching, answering hard questions, evaluating my past, my present and my dreamiest future to figure out what my really-real, deep-down values are, and again, this concept of “making” proved to be a recurring theme.

I kept mulling over this idea that ALL people are happiest, most open to contribute to personal relationships and society as a whole when they spend time MAKING instead of living in a constant state of consumption.

The further I delved into researching the concept, the more information I found (I’ll do a round-up soon!) suggesting that I’m not the only one who holds this belief, and there is actually proof that all people are indeed creative at some level, and that making things is not only good for the soul, it’s good for business.

So, Just Make Things was born as a brand strategy agency to help “doers and makers” combine their passions and their livelihoods, by helping them develop rockin’ brand strategies aligned with their deepest-deepity down values.

I decided to go for the whole “launch before you’re ready” approach with this one, so it’s far from perfect right now, but I’m still thrilled! I’m keeping it short for today, but I promise I have lots of great content on the way to help you out on your own entrepreneurial journey. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by the new site! I’d love to hear any feedback you have so far.
